WELCOME AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

CALL TO WORSHIP:

We are here because we have heard rumors of God’s grace,

of Divine love poured out on all people from all places

We have heard stories of Jesus,

who welcomed the outcasts, the unclean, the unwanted,

            and the sinners.

We come to hear the stories of other people,

           in another world long ago.

We come to hear the stories that are also about us today.

We want to hear more of these stories.

God, give us ears to listen.

Eyes to see, and hearts to accept your story of Divine grace.

      Let us worship God.
