On this 4th Sunday of Advent, we marvel at the incredible faith of Elizabeth and Mary. They were so spiritually prepared, so saturated with God’s story, that they dared imagine God’s possibilities in the world. Can Mary and Elizabeth also inspire us to prepare by listening to God in prayer and through reading and knowing the message of the Bible?

On the third Sunday of Advent, we dare to imagine God singing God’s song because we are attuned to God’s voice. We can sing old and new songs as a way of growing in our faith.

This second Sunday of Advent, we join with Malachi and Luke in imagining the Advent of God among us. Those who dare to imagine God embracing the world with peace are those who have prepared for it. Is it possible for us to see the small signs of God’s Shalom in our lives lives and communities?
