Today is part three of our worship series on stories of faith. Part of our vocation as Christians is to tell God’s story. Telling stories is one of the most powerful ways of influencing, teaching, and inspiring others. Stories help us learn. Stories forge connections among people, and between people and ideas. Stories convey the culture, history, and values that unite people. In our scripture reading, we see how a simple relationship between a Hebrew and Moabite woman has such a profound impact on Israel’s story. How is God present in our everyday relationships?
